JUST A FEW WORDS TO SAY ABOUT MY MUM.
SHE WAS A VERY SPECIAL LADY WHO SUFFERED FROM HEART DISEASE DUE TO CONTRACTING AN ILLNESS WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD.
SHE WAS AN ONLY CHILD BROUGHT UP IN TYNESIDE, WHEN SHE LEFT SCHOOL SHE TRAINED AS A NURSE.
SHE LOVED GARDENING, SEWING, READING AND LOOKING AFTER HER GRANDCHILDREN AND HER DOGGIES!
IN THE LAST TWO YEARS OF HER LIFE SHE FOUND IT HARD TO DO THINGS FOR HERSELF DUE TO SHORTNESS OF BREATH AND WEAKNESS BUT IN THE WORDS OF ONE OF HER GRANDCHILDREN SHE WAS "ALWAYS SMILING"
AND SHE WAS!
SHE WAS LOVED BY EVERYONE BECAUSE SHE WAS JUST SO KIND AND WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR ANYONE.
SHE HAS TWO DAUGHTERS, MYSELF AND MY OLDER SISTER WHO LOVE AND MISS HER MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY.
SHE ALSO HAS FIVE GRANDCHILDREN WHO MISS HER TERRIBLY.
SHE WAS TAKEN FROM US ON 2 APRIL 2007 AND I STILL CANT BELIEVE SHE IS NEVER COMING BACK.
THOSE WE LOVE DONT GO AWAY
THEY WALK BESIDE US EVERYDAY
UNSEEN,UNHEARD, BUT ALWAYS NEAR
STILL LOVED STILL MISSED AND VERY DEAR.
PEOPLE THINK WE HAVE FORGOTTEN
WHEN AT TIMES THEY SEE US SMILE
LITTLE DO THEY KNOW THE HEARTACHE
THAT OUR SMILES HIDE ALL THE WHILE
TO SOME YOU MAY BE FORGOTTEN
TO OTHERS A PART OF THE PAST
BUT TO THOSE WHO LOVED AND LOST YOU
YOUR MEMORY WILL LAST AND LAST.

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new,
I thought of you yesterday and days before that too,
I think of you in silence I often speak your name,

Your memory is my keepsake with which i will never part,

An Angel kissed my tears away,
Today when I was sad,
I wasn't feeling quite myself,
My day had been so bad,
I felt a warmth brush by me,
That quickly dried my tears -
A gentle, kind and loving touch,
That seemed to hold me near.
The warmth and kindness filled my heart,
and the day seemed brighter too....
I guess that's just the way you feel
when an Angel comforts you!
